What is TFT?

Thought Field Therapy (TFT) is a unique form of therapy used to eliminate the causes of negative emotions. Thought Field Therapy was discovered and developed by Dr. Roger Callahan PhD, a Californian clinical psychologist.

By tapping lightly on specific upper body energy meridian points, in a precise sequence, most individuals experience significant and usually complete relief from their negative emotions within a few minutes, such as:


Fears
Trauma
Anger
Depression
Obsessions
Shame
Guilt
Phobias (flying, spiders, heights, public speaking and others)
Panic attacks and anxiety
Stress
Addictions (including overeating, nail biting, drinking and others)
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

It is a natural, drug-free, non-invasive system. It has no negative side effects.

It does not need the person to discuss the cause of their discomfort.

It is fast and effective, often requiring only one session.

TFT remains one of the most efficient tools to eliminate negative emotions. With my clients I often use it to get rid of emotions which may be preventing them from moving forward in another area of their lives. For example, a client wants a more loving and closer relationship with their partner. However, their fear of flying may prevent them from travelling and rob them of the opportunity of having some fun, quality time together. By eliminating the fear of flying, the client can concentrate on more productive ways of strengthening their relationship.
